The Whitehaven Beach is a 4.5 mile (7 km) long beach with pristine sand and crystal clear waters, located in Australia’s White Sunday Island National Park.
It is the Australia’s most photographed beach, also known as the best beach on the South Pacific Coast. In 2008, the beach was awarded for the cleanest Queensland’s beach. The sand of Whitehaven Beach does not retain heat, making it a comfortable walk on hot days.
