The beautiful Praia de Rodas is a beach on the Cies islands. It is an archipelago consisting of three islands: the Monteagudi, do Faro, and San Martino. They are laid in the mouth of Ria de Vigo, just off the coast of Pontevedra in Galicia.

Well known for their pristine and quiet beauty, the Cies islands are ideal for family vacations. The rough and mountainous terrain offers great hiking opportunities. Rich flora and fauna of the islands are worth to explore.

There is a restaurant, a supermarket, and a visitor center for tourists, however, apart from these, there are only basic amenities.

Getting there

Tourists can reach the beach only by a boats or ferries which depart from the ports of Vigo, Baiona, and Cangas.

There are daily boat trips from Vigo to the islands, and yachts are also available for rent.
