How to get to the beach
Situated on Lefkada island, the Porto Katsiki Beach is cut off from the main island life. It and can only be accessed on foot through the eighty steep steps that lead down to the beach.
This beach is also directly accessible through private yachts, and water taxis from Nidri and Vassiliki. You can rent a car in Lefkada, but it is not advisable as the roads are not good to drive. There are also no gas stations between the island capital and the beach, so fill up before you set out to drive, and carry an extra can, just in case. The parking lot is the top of the stairs.
On the beach
You can hire sunbeds and umbrellas on Porto Katsiki Beach, but there are no water sports and activities.
For the prolific water lover, this beach offers clear blue waters that are ideal for swimming, sailing, and surfing. However, you’ll need to bring your own gear. There are also no lifeguards available, so be careful, especially if you are going with children.
