Nika Island Beach

Nika Island is located in the middle of North Ari Atoll, about 72 km from the Male airport. Seaplanes provide round-trip flights during the daylight hours.

Like the other resorts in Maldives, Nika Island has no local population, only the resort staff.

The Nika Island Beach is among the smallest and most private Maldives’ beaches. So private, in fact, that each bungalow has its own private beachfront complete with thatched umbrellas and sun loungers. There are also stand-alone water villas built out onto a pier and surrounded by coral reefs.

When on the beach

The beach resort offers many activities, including snorkeling and scuba diving. There is a reef right there next to the island that even amateur divers can explore easily. In addition to that, there are fifteen diving locations reachable by a quick boat ride. These have amazing features, such as huge Manta Rays, and softly lit coral caves. Big game fishing is also available on the island.

The bars on the Nika island are famous for their exotic collection of wine from all over the world. The restaurants serve local, as well as international dishes.
