Coast Guard Beach, Cape Cod, Massachusetts

Coast Guard Beach is known for great, safe swimming and the fact that it is never too crowded.

Birdwatchers are drawn to the beach to observe the nesting Terns and Plovers in Spring and Early Summer. Seals are often spotted on the beach and in the waves.

From mid-June to the Labor day, the parking lot is closed and visitors either walk or cycle using the well-maintained track or ride a shuttle bus. Beach parking is still available for the disabled visitors, and there is full access for them to the beach.

There are public facilities provided at the beach including showers, restrooms, and changing rooms. Lifeguards are on duty during the peak season.
