Almanarre beach, Cote d'Azur

The Almanarre Beach is a 5 km long stretch of white sand, located in Hyères, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur of France.

Consisting of a mixture of sand and small pebbles, it is the most famous beach in Hyères. The waters are usually swallowing there, so this beach is perfect for swimming, especially for families with kids.

The Almanarre beach is also very popular among windsurfers and kite surfers because in some seasons Mistral wind blows here from the west allowing experts and beginners to enjoy their favorite sport.

Traveling to the beach

The beach can be accessed by bus:

  • Route number: 39
  • Stop: Almanarre
  • Frequency: every 30 min all year

Parking slots can be found at the Almanarre’s roundabout. Also, there are some other parking spaces on the Salt road during the summer seasons.
