Al Bateen Beach in Abu Dhabi has a reputation as one of the more excluded and private beaches. It overlooks Hudariyate Island and is located on the West side of Abu Dhabi.

How to get there

To reach the beach is convenient. One just needs to follow Khaleej AI Arabi Street and turn on 19th street towards the Al Hudariyat Bridge. It provides spacious parking and disabled access and is accessible by any means of transport. Although visitors may have to walk a bit if they are using public transportation services.

On the beach

Al Bateen beach management company, named BAKE offers many amenities and facilities. Along with its 800m of sparkling beach and waterfront, there are showers, changing rooms, and toilets available for visitors to use at their convenience.

It is a place for the whole family, as there are play areas for the kids. There you can rent daybeds and sun loungers available at a small cost. Aside from relaxation, Al Bateen Beach also has many activities available.

Watersport activities such as kayaking and paddling are available from the water sports center. Lifeguards are on duty to ensure the safety of swimmers and paddlers. If one is looking for more of a quiet day out away from the larger crowds, but still enjoy beach luxury, then Al Bateen is the beach to come to.
